How to Build Leadership Commitment to Transformation

Instructors: Drs. Linda Ackerman Anderson and Dean Anderson

We explore how to ask for, generate and nurture leadership commitment to transformation. The answer is not what you think, but it will radically improve your ability to get leaders committed. Developing this skill is one of the ten key strategies for ensuring success in any transformation.

Key Takeaways:

Leadership commitment is a make-or-break factor in any transformation, but gaining it is not cut and dried. Most leaders say they are committed, but then do not follow through and act on that commitment adequately.

For transformational change to succeed, leaders at all levels must be committed and aligned to both the desired outcomes and the process of change. This is especially true at the executive level. The earlier your leaders commit to transformation, the faster you will build momentum toward your desired outcomes.

In this online workshop, we explored how to ask for, generate and nurture leadership commitment. The answer is not what you think, but it will radically improve your ability to get leaders committed. Developing this skill is one of the ten key strategies for ensuring success in any organization transformation. Includes a question and answer session with participants and instructors.
