The program is comprised of four 5-day in-person sessions, combined with pre-work and in-between assignments that are accessed online via our learning platform. 

The first three in-person sessions take place at the Being First Center for Achieving Breakthrough in Durango, Colorado, USA. The last session typically takes place at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.  See the next program schedule here.

During the five months of this program, you will be on a transformative journey, using the personal and organizational tools we teach you in your daily lives. It’s up to you how deeply you practice them. We don’t push and never judge. We are here to support you in your process throughout these five months and beyond.

A deep exploration into personal and organizational transformation.

Session One

Purpose
To introduce you to the program, create our culture, identify and explore your areas for development as a leader, develop and expand self-mastery skills, and explore and apply CLR Phase I.

Session Two

Purpose
To reflect on, build and optimize your self-mastery practices, deepen your application of the 4 Sights, introduce and explore Co-Creating, the stages of leadership development and Conscious Process Design, and apply CLR Phases II and III.

Session Three

Purpose
To reflect on and refine your Breakthrough Journey, deepen your self-mastery practices, delve further into Co-Creativity, learn and apply the Breakthrough Consulting Process, and apply Phase IV of the CLR methodology.

Session Four

Purpose
To explore culture change, its strategic levers, and how the CLR drives it, review and discuss CLR Phases VII and IX, complete the exploration of Co-Creativity, practice advanced self-mastery techniques, and determine how you will move forward applying what you’ve learned personally and professionally. We close this session with appreciation and graduation!

The program is comprised of four 5-day in-person sessions, combined with pre-work and in-between assignments that are accessed online via our learning platform.

Cancellations & Refunds

Your use or purchase of Being First materials or programs is mutually voluntary.  You may cancel your use or participation at any time for any reason and Being First may cancel your use or participation at any time for cause.  All cancellation requests must be in writing to [email protected].

  1. For the cancellation of a materials purchase (not included in a program), a full refund will be issued if, at the time of cancellation, the materials have not been shipped or you have not accessed or downloaded purchased online materials for use. At the time of cancellation, all access, or rights to access any paid or free materials will end.
  2. Cancelling your participation in any program or community will end your access to said program or community and any associated materials.  Any materials that were accessed or downloaded must be destroyed.
  3. Cancellation of your participation in a paid program or community for any of the below examples, except part D, you may apply 100% of your paid tuition towards a future program.  Otherwise the below refund policies shall apply.
  4. If you voluntarily cancel your attendance in any paid Blended Learning course for any reason, you will receive a refund based on the timing of the cancellation as described below.
    1. > 30 days prior to the start of the paid Blended Learning program: Full refund for all paid tuition minus an administrative fee of $199.
    2. < 30 days prior to the start of the paid Blended Learning program: Full refund for all paid tuition, minus a 10% cancellation fee plus the administrative fee of $199.
    3. If you cancel your participation in a paid Blended Learning course after it has started, we will refund whatever percentage of your paid tuition you think is fair, no questions asked, minus the 10% cancellationfee plus the administrative fee of $199.
  5. If you voluntarily cancel your participation in any paid Self-Paced Learning program or Community, your refund will be based on your participation or use of the materials provided as part of the program or community:
    1. If you cancel your attendance in any Self-Paced Learning program or Community, prior to taking any portion of the course or participating in the community, a full refund of your paid tuition will be applied.
    2. If you begin a purchased Self-Paced Learning program or Community then decide to cancel, we will refund whatever percentage of your paid tuition you think is fair, no questions asked.
  6. If you voluntarily cancel your participation in any In-Person Program, your refund will be based on of if you were on a payment plan and the date you cancel your participation.
        1. If tuition was originally paid via a payment plan, the payment plan deposit of $575 is non-refundable.
        2. If attendance is cancelled 60-days from the program start date, your tuition is fully refundable or transferable
        3. Because we keep class sizes intimate for the deepest learning experience, transfers and cancellations less than 60 days from the program start date are as follows:
          1. Transfers requested 60-30 days from the program start date are subject to a 5% transfer fee
          2. Refunds requested 60-30 days from the program start date are subject to a 10% cancellation fee
          3. Transfers less than 30 days from the program start date are subject to a 10% transfer fee
          4. No refunds will be given less than 30 days from the program start date
  7. If for whatever reason Being First cancels your participation in any paid program or community prior to the program starting, for no fault of your own, a full refund of your paid tuition will be provided.
  8. If Being First cancels your participation in any paid program or community after it has started because of some action on your part, we will refund whatever percentage of your fee you think is fair.
Information Regarding COVID-19:

Your health and safety is important to us. We will be monitoring the situation closely for each of our in-person sessions. If for whatever reason Being First must cancel your participation in this program prior to the program starting, for no fault of your own, a full refund of your paid tuition will be provided.

If Being First must cancel your participation in this program after it has started because of some action on your part, we will refund whatever percentage of your fee you think is fair.
